The 2009 Los Angeles Motor Show Starts on 4th December
This coming week see the start of the Los Angeles Motor Show, the last major car show of the year and one which you would normally see dominated by high end exotica, such is the wealth and general demographic of the West Coast USA. A LONDON cab driver has become the first to accept payment only from a mobile phone app as part of a new trial. Ian Cable will only accept payment via the Barclays PingIt app during the five-day trial, following on from also being the first cabbie to use chip and pin as a form of payment back in 2004. "I am very excited to take part in this trial,” said Mr Cable.
